Emslie JudithEMSLIE, Judith Ann (nee CROTHALL)  - November 17, 1943 - January 28, 2019

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother and grandmother at the age of 75.

Judy passed away peacefully at home with family by her side.

She was the cherished wife of Fred. Married 52 years, together they raised 4 children, Frederick (Robin), Michael (Nelida), Deborah (Lance) and John.

She was adored by her 7 grandchildren, Megan, Madison, Gillian, Michael, Allison, Christopher and Jeffrey. Judy was the daughter of Raymond and Constance Crothall and daughter-in-law of Fred and Mary Alice Emslie (all predeceased).

Loving sister to Barry (predeceased), Dawn (Ted) Yarker, and Raymond Crothall. sister-in-law to Marlene Emslie (predeceased). Fondly remembered by her nieces and nephews. Judy was a strong, determined, generous, creative and giving woman. Along with Fred they grew a successful business (Fred Emslie Ltd.) on Avenue Road in North York and later in Downsview.

No matter where she was, family was always her priority. Judy was one of a kind and she will never be forgotten. She will always be in our hearts.

Friends and family will be received at R.S. Kane Funeral Home, North York, ON on Friday, February 1 from 7 – 9 p.m. and Saturday, February 2 at 12:30 p.m. until the time of service at 1:30 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Diabetes Canada or the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
