SHESSEL, Stephen - August 1, 1947 - January 29, 2019
On Tuesday, January 29, 2019, Stephen Shessel, partner of Joanne Speight; father of Zak, Jesse, Josh and Mark; brother of Adele and James Good and uncle to Julie Good, passed away peacefully after a courageous 13-month fight with cancer.
Joanne, Zak and Jesse provided the best support that allowed him to be at home surrounded by all that was familiar and comfortable.
He will be remembered with fondess, and, of course, many stories by those who loved and cared for him.
We extend heartfelt thanks to Princess Margaret Hospital and staff.
Please make any donations, monetary or otherwise, to Hill House Hospice in Richmond Hill. Albeit only briefly, they cared for Stephen with great dignity and respect.
A private family service will be held and a celebration of Stephen's life will be held at a later date.
