Morton ChuckMORTON, Charles Albert 'Chuck' - July 5, 1932 - May 19, 2019 - Passed away peacefully at Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital.

Beloved husband of the late Florence (Flo) (2009) nee Coward for 55 years.

Brother of Muriel (Stan) Skrbek, Clare (late Brigitte) and predeceased by Donna in 1988.

Cherished father of Kathleen, Karyl (Dave) Churm, Kevin (Pauline), Kurt (Lise), Krystal (Andy) Williams and predeceased by Keith (1990).

Proud Grandpa of Grant Morton (Sarah), Chantal (Rommel) Junta, Stephanie (Geoff Vollick), Shannon Churm, Craig McCurdy, Cierra, Dezzaray Williams, and Maddison Morton.

Dear Great-Grandpa of Gabriella, Gavyn, Julien and Mateo.

Remembered by the Coward family and many nieces and nephews.

Will be missed by his dear friend and companion Irene Avon.

Chuck served the community through organizations such as East Hamilton Kiwanis and was an advocate for multiculturalism.

He retired from Sun Life Financial after a successful 30-year career. An avid and accomplished square and round dancer, well into retirement he enjoyed an active lifestyle including Dragon Boat racing and later musical pursuits with the Burlington New Horizons Band and the Oakville Senior's Drop in Music Program.

In accordance with Chuck's wishes, cremation has taken place. The family invites you to celebrate his life at Ancaster Mill, 548 Old Dundas Rd, Ancaster, Thursday, May 30, 2019 from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. in the 1812 room.

The family acknowledges, with gratitude, the compassionate care provided by the Oncology and Transitional Care Units at OTMH.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Charles Morton to CORD.
