NOFTLE, Linda Joy - In loving memory of Linda Joy Noftle, who passed away in Brampton Civic Hospital on May 31, 2019 at the age of 71 years, after a lengthy time in hospital.
Linda Joy will be dearly missed by her husband Ralph and daughter Sarah. Linda Joy was born in Englehart, Ontario on September 10, 1947. She was predeceased by her parents Gerry and Molly Rogers.
Linda Joy is survived by her sister Peg Harman (Jim) and brother John Rogers (Sadie) of New Liskeard, Ontario.
Linda Joy attended schools in Englehart and New Liskeard and obtained a Registered Nurses Assistant degree. She had a great singing voice and in her early years participated in the Temiskaming Music Festival with solos and duets with her friends.
During her 25 year working career as an RNA, she worked in the Ottawa, New Liskeard, Smith Falls and Brampton areas in hospitals and nursing homes. She also worked in handicapped children's camps and for a short time drove school buses to transport handicapped children back and forth from home to school in the Brampton area.
She enjoyed the outdoors by camping and fishing with her family.
A “Celebration of Life Service” will be held at North Bramalea United Church, 363 Howden Blvd in Brampton, on Thursday June 6th at 2pm. Arrangements entrusted with Andrews funeral home, Brampton.
