MURUGUPILLAI, Vimala Navamalar - We are saddened by the passing away of Vimala today, July 25, 2019 surrounded by family.
She will be fondly remembered as a loving Mummy, doting Ammamah, Appamah, with boundless source of joy and kindness to those around her.
Despite the early loss of her husband Herby Murugupillai (District Manager – Bank of Ceylon, Batticaloa) her resolve and spirit helped her reestablish the strength of her entire family flourish in their new home, Canada.
The many important roles she played changed and touched many lives; as a child of God through immense faith; as a caregiver to her grandchildren as a teacher of compassion and generosity; as to many a constant source of laughter in good times and strength during times of concerns.
Her warm smile, sharp wit, and deep tenderness will be greatly missed.
Visitation will be held at Chapel Ridge Funeral Home, Markham on July 30, 2019 from 5.00 PM – 9.00PM. Funeral Service will take place in the chapel on July 31, 2019 at 10.00AM.
