Neil RobertNEIL, Robert  - It is with heavy hearts that we announce Rob’s sudden passing on Sunday, July 28th, 2019 at the age of 55.

Beloved husband of Maureen for 32 years.

Proud and loving father of Carly and Emily. Survived by his mother, Margaret, and siblings Ruby, Dan (Cassie) and Holly (Jesse).

Cherished uncle of Rory, Josh, Tanner, Lily, Jesse, Isabella, Julia, and Riley. Rob’s family meant the world to him, and he always encouraged his daughters to reach for the stars. 

Rob was a proud and devoted member of Ironworkers Union Local 721 for 38 years. He inspired many over the years with his strong work ethic and dedication to the local.  Rob taught his daughters how to skate, play hockey, and be passionate Toronto Maple Leafs fans. He was a dedicated hockey coach for the Oakville Hornets for many years. 

Family and friends may visit at the Glen Oaks Funeral Home, Oakville on Friday, August 2, 2019 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m.  Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Saturday, August 3, 2019 at 11 a.m.  Cremation.  

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to The Centre for Addiction and Mental health at www.camh.ca.
