TONNER, Jane - Peacefully, and with great dignity, Janet passed away on Monday July 29, 2019 in the comfort of her own home surrounded by the love of her family, Sharon and Chris.
Janet is survived by her loving daughter Sharon, son-in-law Christopher, and granddaughter Melayna.
Predeceased by her beloved husband John and eldest daughter Sandra.
She will be greatly missed by her adored nieces and nephews Janet, Jean, Ashburn, Thomas, Carol, James, Ian, Ruby, and Uncle Tony and all her extended family in Scotland.
The family would like to extend a hearfelt special thank you to the team at TLPC for making Mom's wish to stay at home a reality and a peaceful one, Nurse Practioner Aynsley Young and her RN Beth for all the support and care, Dr. Peter D'Angelo our family physician, and Dr. Gupta from St Michael's for his years of exceptional care.
A heart felt thank you to Katherine and Sheila, Mom's exceptional PSWs. A big thank you to all of our friends for all the support and love you have shown us during Mom's journey .
A visitation will be held in Mom's honour on Saturday Aug 3rd, 2019 from 12 until1 pm, service in the Chapel beginning at 1 pm. Arrangements with Giffen-Mack Funeral Home, 4115 Lawrence Ave., East, West Hill ON.
In keeping with Mom's wishes, a celebration will take place back at the family home after the service, all are welcome.
