COSTA, Maria Da Luz - It is with great sadness we announce the unexpected passing of our beloved mother and grandmother.
Maria passed away peacefully with family by her side on Monday September 30, 2019.
Maria was born on August 29, 1930 in Porto Formoso, São Miguel, Acores, Portugal.
Maria Da Luz, beloved wife of the late Joao Costa.
Mother to Gabriela (Victor Jorge), John (Eduarda) and Joseph.
Grandmother to Michael, Jessica, Kristen, Joshua, Kaitlin, Nicholas and Olivia.
Maria Da Luz is survived by her sisters, Maria De Jesus Gervasio, Alzira (Jose Da Silva), her sister-in-law, Inez Raposo, and many of her nephews and nieces.
Visitation will be held at Cardinal Funeral Home, Bathurst Chapel, Toronto on October 4th from 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM. The service will take place at Santa Cruz Parish, 140 Argyle Street, Toronto on October 5th at 9:30 AM
In lieu of flowers, donations would be greatly appreciated in her memory to a charity of your choice.
