TOWNSHEND, Nadia - September 23rd, 1958 - December 15th, 2019
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our guiding light: Nadia Townshend.
Much loved wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend.
On the morning of December 15th, Nadia left us peacefully in the arms of her loving family.
Her faith, kindness, and humour touched the lives of all of those around her.
Regardless of what she was doing, she put 110% into it.
Nadia loved to travel, dance, sing, teach, and most importantly, be in the company of others. Her home was a place of warmth where everyone felt welcome.
Nadia was a warrior, who throughout her entire battle, was a symbol of strength, hope, and faith. A true inspiration to all.
Special thanks goes out to the staff at Princess Margaret Hospital for the incredible support throughout her journey.
