Arrabito AngeloARRABITO, Angelo - Passed peacefully on Saturday, February 29, 2020, surrounded by his family in his 90th year.

Devoted husband of Carmela for 64 years.

Beloved father of John (Margaret) and Robert.

Proud Nonno of Christine. Dear brother of Carmela (late Orazio) and brother-in-law of the late Giuseppina (Vincenzo) of Italy.

Dear uncle to Rosalee, John, Joanne, Teresa and Salvatore. Angelo will also be fondly missed by friends, neighbours and Robert’s seeing eye dog Ralph.

Angelo was born in Sicily, Italy in 1930 and came to Canada in 1954 to build a good life in Toronto. He taught us the importance of perseverance, hard work, education and dedication to family. Angelo’s values will continue to be carried on by his family.

Angelo was always at peace in his nice garden. We are all blessed and grateful to have had him in our lives and he will always be close in our hearts forever.

Angelo’s family is sincerely grateful to all of his doctors, nurses and caregivers. Special thanks to Dr. Gavin Mistry and Dr. Paul Frydrych.

Visitation will be held at the Bernardo Funeral Home, Dufferin Chapel, Toronto on Thursday March 5th, from 2-4 p.m. and 6-9 p.m. Funeral Mass on Friday March 6th at 9:30 a.m. at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church, 2100 Jane St., Toronto. Interment to follow.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Humber River Hospital Foundation in memory of Angelo.
