Veh LindsayVEH, Lindsay (LAVEH) - A talented artist, an inspiring teacher, and a dedicated and caring friend. Passed away peacefully on February 28, 2020 at Toronto Western hospital in the early morning.

Lindsay was an avid reader, finishing upwards to six to ten books a week up until the last weeks of her life. She also had a great appreciation for jazz music and an open and curious nature and appreciation for the beauty that surrounded her.

In the past six years as she adjusted to life living with a serious illness she demonstrated grace, strength and a gratitude for each day she lived and the kindness that came into her life through friends and caregivers that came closer.

Lindsay had an infectious sense of humour and a great talent for encouraging her friends and taking joy in their accomplishments.

We will miss your physical presence, but will continue to hold you in our hearts and watch for the signs of your spirit around us.

A special thank you to Dr. Clara Whelan from the Sinai Health Palliative Care Team, Amanda Taylor, Social Worker at Philip Aziz Centre, Jennifer Rocha, Social Worker at Toronto Western Hospital, Dr. Paul Zhang friend and dentist, Sheri Ann Stranger, Cathy Ruebsamen Bennett Molnar, Kimberly Hunter and Sean Patenaude for their unfaltering friendship and support to Lindsay, and Workman Arts Staff and Members who enriched Lindsay's life through their shared love of art and art opportunities.

Finally a very special thanks to Carol Taylor whose commitment to Lindsay from the first day she met her through her volunteerism with the Philip Aziz Centre was one of Lindsay's greatest sources of gratitude. Carol became Lindsay's friend, confidant, support at medical appointments, companion on outings and a true light of consistent compassion, positive energy and blessing in Lindsays life the past three years.

Lindsay is predeceased by her parents the Namaros and sister Denise.
