Sherman JerrySHERMAN, Jerry – Passed away peacefully in his 90th year, on Wednesday, April 8th 2020, at Baycrest Hospital.

Loving husband of Anita for 64 years, and dear father and father-in-law of Cory and Francine, Darrell and Ruth, and Marla.

Cherished grandpa of Eric, Michael, Jonathan, Avital, Yonatan and Renana, David and Racheli, Sara, Jake, and Zachary.

Respected brother-in-law of Carol and Mickey Baratz, Sharon and Michael Pupko, and the late Rita and Stanley Capland. Caring uncle to his many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents Manny and Shirley and his sister Diane.

Jerry graduated as a C.A. in 1954, and worked with Gilbert R. Barrett, eventually becoming a partner at the international accounting firm of Fuller, Jenks, Landau. He was a pioneer in the residential condominium business, working alongside his friend John Gregory in Oakville.

He played many sports, enjoyed racquetball at the Y, and loved his Toronto Blue Jays.

Jerry was a strong man with a kind and gentle soul, who took great pride in his roots on Beverley Street. He was a positive inspiration to everyone who knew him.

Special thanks to his loving caregivers Adel, Mimi, Che and Sheila, and to Dr. Marvin Gelkopf, Dr. Giulia-Anna Perri, and the nurses and staff at the Baycrest Centre.

Private service entrusted with Steeles Memorial Chapel, Thornhill.
