GURRERI, Maria - It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our dear mother and loving wife. God called Maria peacefully on May 22, 2020 at the age of 79.
She will be forever missed by her devoted husband, Rosario.
Loved by her children, Angela (Anthony), Antonietta (Joe), and Maria (Dino). Proud and adoring grandmother to Michael, Daniel, Stefanie, Jonathan, Steven, Sofia and Emily.
Cherished sister in law to Alfonso and Giuseppina. She is now reunited in heaven with her sister Angela (Giuseppe) and will always be remembered by her sister Teresa (Antonino) in Italy.
Private family visitations will take place at the Vescio Funeral Home Woodbridge Chapel (8101 Weston Rd.), followed by a private family service and entombment.
In lieu of flowers the family kindly asks donations to be made in Maria’s memory to the Canadian Cancer Society or to Josie's Pink Truck http://josiespinktruck.org/.
For the safety of the family and friends public visitation will not take place at the funeral home.
