Dubbeldam MarinusDUBBELDAM, Marinus Pieter - (1930 - 2020) - Passed away June 13, 2020 at Holland Christian Homes.

He was the beloved husband to the late Christine Dubbeldam, wonderful father to Andrew (Jennifer) and Brian, and grandfather to Jason and Rachel.

Marinus was born in the Netherlands in 1930 and immigrated to Canada with Christine Den Boer in 1952. They were married in 1953. They lived in Brockville, Ontario from 1952 until they moved to Holland Christian Homes in 2007.

After immigrating to Canada he was a car mechanic for a number of years and then worked at Dupont as a maintenance mechanic until his retirement in 1985.

After retirement Marinus volunteered for Wycliffe Bible Translators in Tucson, Arizona, Dallas, Texas, and Orlando Florida for many years.

He had numerous interests and hobbies throughout his life. He restored many antique automobiles mostly Citroens. He was an avid rock collector for decades, which often took us far and wide in pursuit of gems and minerals. His spirit lives on in those who loved him.
