Quiogue JuliaQUIOGUE, Julia (nee San Juan) - It is with sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother and friend Julia (nee San Juan) Quiogue, on July 5, 2020, just four short days following her 95th birthday.

Born in Pateros, Philippines she was the daughter of the late Pablo and Maria (nee De Luna) San Juan. Besides her late parents, Julia was predeceased by her husband Damaso Quiogue and son in law Bayani Santos.

Leaving with fond and precious memories of making others feel comfortable in her presence or her passion for life and offering kind words of advice are her loving children Alicia (The late Bayani) Santos, Victoria Quiogue (Cecilia Romulo), Andres (Lolita) Quiogue, Francisco (Adelina) Quiogue, Marcial (Belen T.) Quiogue, Virgilio (Tess) Quiogue, Annabel (Juvenal) Manalo, Maria Q. (Rodel) Raymundo, Pablito, Cherileen Q. (Virlenson) Carrido.

Julia is also survived by a large circle of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren who she loved and cared for deeply along with a large circle of extended family and those who had the awesome privilege of recognizing and calling her a friend.

In keeping with Ontario health regulations and directives, a private by invitation only visitation will take place. Arrangements with Rosar Morrison funeral home, Toronto.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, (520 Sherbourne St., Toronto) on Saturday, July 18th at 10:00 AM.

Flowers or donations to a charity of donor’s choice graciously accepted.

In keeping with personal wishes, Julia’s earthly remains will be repatriated back to her home of Pateros, Philippines where we pray with all the saints that her soul and the souls of all the faithful departed to the mercy of God will rest in peace.
