Attard CharlesATTARD, CharlesIt is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear Charles on Sunday August 9, 2020 at the age of 66 years.

Charles is now re-united in heaven with his loving parents Teresa Muscat and Leonardo Attard and leaves behind his beloved wife Wendy Deagle-Attard. He was the loving father of Robert and Susan.

Charles was a cherished brother to Catherine Bonnici, Leonardo and his wife Jadwiga, John Paul and his wife Yuki, and Paul and his wife Tara. Charlie was the dear brother-in-law of Chuck Deagle and Michael Deagle. Devoted Uncle to Teresa (Dave), Jason (Christina), Matthew (Kristen) Adam and Nate and Great Uncle to Joey, Gabriel, and Julianna.

Charles will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all his family and friends in Canada, Malta, the United States and all who knew him.

Heartfelt gratitude for the care and compassion Charlie received from his team of Doctors at Sunnybrook Hospital, the Doctors and Nurses at Brameast Family Health Organization, and the Nursing staff at Bethell Hospice.

Along with spending quality time with family and friends, Charlie most enjoyed camping at the river, watching the sunset and sitting by the fire with Wendy or curled up with one of his loyal companions, Jordan, Coco or Molly. He was known to take in a bit of fishing, hunting and was often the first to offer his expertise to those who may have car trouble.

Charlie’s kind and gentle heart, his incredible sense of humour and his need to make those around him laugh will be missed by all who knew him.

Friends will be received at the Scott Funeral Home - Brampton Chapel, (289 Main Street North), on Friday August 14th from 6 – 8 pm and Saturday August 15th from 12 - 2:30 pm. A Funeral Service will then be celebrated at the funeral home beginning at 2:30 p.m. Private Cremation to follow.

In light of the current global pandemic with the present restrictions placed on group gatherings by the government, attendance at the funeral home has been restricted to 30% capacity. For the health and well being of everyone, we respectfully request that attendees at the funeral home and cemetery comply with current Brampton by-laws by observing social and physical distancing and wearing masks.

For those unable to attend the funeral home, the Funeral Service for Charlie will be live streamed. The live stream will commence at 2:25 pm on Saturday August 15th. Please copy the link below into your address bar. When prompted, please provide the below password to initiate the live stream.
