Karavelos JohnKARAVELOS, John - Peacefully passed on August 20, 2020 in Mississauga, ON.

He was born in Mikine, Argos, Greece in 1933 and immigrated to Canada where he met and married his bride Georgina.

They enjoyed 58 wonderful years together.

John lived a very full life.

A successful business man and an active contributing member of the Greek community and an exceptional father, grandfather and family man.

Although he was defined by his work, his latter business venture involved his two sons Jim and Nick who he adored and instilled business skills and a strong work ethic. He will be terribly missed but never forgotten by his sons who honoured and respected him.

He will be forever cherished by his daughter Tina who will never forget the countless hours he invested in her as a child and as an adult with his wise counsel.

His grandchildren Evan, Kristen, John and Ioanni will forever remember their Papou who was so tender and generous to them. From teaching them to drive, to preparing countless bbq’s at the poolside and his boundless love for them. He will never be forgotten.

He will remembered by his brothers, sister and sister-in-laws Nick, George, Sophia, Panegiotitsa, & Loula in Europe.

John Karavelos will be remembered as a respectful, honourable gentleman who lived for his family.

A true giver of himself not only to his family but to others. He was a very special man.
