Boutot NormaBOUTOT, Norma Betty (nee Handley)It is with a heavy heart to announce the passing of our beloved Norma Betty Boutot, in her 90th year here in Toronto.

She has been reunited with her late husband, Ronald Boutot.

Norma was born on November 13, 1929 to Helga and Norman Handley and attended Humberside Collegiate where she met a number of her life-long friendships.

Norma went onto Teachers College and taught in school until 1964, she got married and became the proud mother of Jean-Marie and Gary.

Settling in the Parkdale area for the past five decades, Norma volunteered for many organizations including the Canadian Cancer Society, Roncesvalles United Church and local food banks and charities. Norma also tutored and taught music to many of the neighbourhood children.

Norma is survived by Jean-Marie and Gary (Annie) and the apple of her eye, granddaughter Victoria and was predeceased by her husband of 53 years, Ronald Boutot (2017).

Her family would like to thank the staff and volunteers at St Joseph Hospital, especially the family health team and Dr. Natasha Crispino.

Visitation will be held at Scott Funeral Home, West Toronto Chapel on Friday September 4th. Due to the COVID - 19 Pandemic, the funeral home must ensure all visitors' safety and well-being therefore we require that you please contact the family if you wish to attend the visitation and services at our location.

In lieu of flowers and any Memorial donations may be made in Norma’s name to the Weston/King Neighbourhood Centre or the Etobicoke Humane Society.
