Hayworth BarbaraHAYWORTH, BarbaraPassed away suddenly at Credit Valley Hospital on Monday, September 7, 2020 at the age of 84.

Beloved wife of the late Allen Hayworth. Adored partner of the late Robert (Bob) McMath. Cherished mother of Greg (Alyson) and Jonathan (Sue). Dear stepmother of Mark (Janine), Glenn (Ruth) and Brian (Pam).

Loving Gram Gram to Mike (Nicole), Natalie, Jennifer, Nicole, Lauren, Erin, Matthew, Jamee (Jeremy) and Aimee (Andrew). Great-Gram Gram to Jeremy, Alex, Ashton, Jocelyn and Avery. Predeceased by her granddaughter Katherine.

Predeceased by her brother Robert (Ruth) Graham.

Barbara was born and raised in St. Catharines before moving to Toronto to attend the University of Toronto School of Nursing. After raising her family, Barbara returned to the workforce as a Public Health Nurse in North York (and later Toronto) where she served until her retirement.

Longtime member of the congregation at Graceview Presbyterian Church. In her retirement years she was a steadfast volunteer at the St. James Food Basket and other charitable organizations. Barbara was recognized by the Province of Ontario in 2014 for her Outstanding Volunteer Service to the Community.

The family would like to thank Dr. Mark Varkul for his tremendous support over the last years of mom’s life. Thanks also to the staff at Sunrise of Erin Mills for your compassionate care since her arrival there in 2015.

Barbara will be lovingly remembered by many family and friends.

Arrangements with Newediuk funeral home, Kipling chapel, 2058 Kipling Ave., Etobicoke.

Private Family Funeral Service. Interment Sanctuary Park Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. James Food Basket, or a charity of your choice.
