STAIOS, Georgios - It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing on Tuesday, September 8, 2020 of Georgios - a kind and gentle soul.
Loving husband to the late Evangelia Staios.
Father to Christine and Paschalis Meditskos and grandfather to Zoe and George Meditskos.
Georgios was born on May 4, 1940 in Kledi, Greece.
His childhood can be described as humble and full of adventure.
Georgios was such a kind and caring man and would do anything for his family. He loved and helped to raise his grandchildren and was a part of every milestone in their lives.
Georgios will be reunited with his beloved wife Evangelia.
He will be missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 11, 2020 from 2:00-8:00 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Centre, Toronto. A funeral service will be held at St. John Greek Orthodox Church, 1385 Warden Ave on Saturday, September 12, at 11 a.m. Interment to follow.
