Brick GeraldineBRICK, Geraldine - It is with deep sadness that we announce that Geraldine (Geri) Brick (nee Zivot) passed away at Amica Retirement Residence on Saturday September 19, 2020 with her son Yale Brick and daughter in-law Caryn Caryer at her side, talking to her, and holding her hands.

Geri was deeply loved by her children Yale and Debra Brick (Z"L).

Sadly Debra died in April 2005, but was very close to her mom and had said that her mother was the most supportive person to her of all during her illness.

Baba Geri was adored by her grandchildren Ben, Jake, Danielle, Rachel and Daniel as well as son- in-law Mathew Diamond, and his wife Gaelan Morphet, and will be dearly missed by Jerry Brick.

Geraldine was also deeply loved by her brother Alvin, sister Bernice Marcoe (Z"L), nieces Paula Zivot and Valli Marcoe and her nephews Paul Marcoe (Z"L), and Joel and Eric Zivot.

She was also a loving Aunt to Marsha, Ira, Robert, Lisa, Stuart, Karen, Larry, Machelle (Z"L), Michael, Devi, Gari-Ellen, and Andrew.

Geraldine was also a Great Aunt to many other very important people to her, too many to mention here, but please know how special you were to her.

She formed some special friendships with Shirley, Sid, and Joan (Z"L) who were all wonderful to her. Shirley would occasionally check in on her at 2:00 am just to see that she was okay, and Sid would drop by frequently as well as call both her and her son Yale daily to see how they were doing.

Geri rest assured that your memory will be for a blessing and you will be greatly missed.

In closing, there were many people who helped her along these last few months, but I would like to make special mention of Maureen, Glaiza, Rajwinder, Amica Staff, Mat Diamond, and Karen Ginsberg who went above and beyond to make her last days easier.

A Family graveside service will be held on Tuesday, September 22, 2020.
