It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Murray Kates, beloved husband of Lily z’l.
Loving father of Meryle, and Harvey z’l, and father- in-law of Ted Zucker. Devoted Papa, grandfather to Joshua Rosenblum (Honor), Hartlee Zucker, Samantha Kates, Kevin Zucker. Great grandfather to Lilly and Sadie Rosenblum, and to Miles, Maddie, Leo and Max.
Also remembered by his kind friend and caregiver, Marva Millington.
Private family graveside service will be held on Sunday, November 1st. Arrangements with Steeles Memorial Chapel.
Memorial donations can be made to The Harvey Kates Scholarship, Associated Hebrew School, or The Alzheimer Society of Canada.
