Da SILVA, Jose - Born on June 6, 1937, passed away at his home in Brampton on Sunday November 1, 2020.
After immigrating from the village of Fenais da Luz in Sao Miguel Portugal, Jose and his family made Brampton their home in January 1970.
A devoted family man, guided by his faith, Jose never missed an opportunity to gather with his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. He loved to tell stories of the old country, and every year, made his passionate case that the Toronto Maple Leafs will win the Stanley Cup!!
He was a humble, peaceful, and happy person loved and respected by everyone and would always extend a helping hand to anyone who needed it.
Jose loved making his famous homemade wine, Portuguese pimenta sauce, and vegetable garden.
Jose is survived by his wife Alda of 57 years; his 3 children, Oliver (Janet), Ilda (Carmine), Manuel; his 8 Grandchildren (Christine, Casondra, Cindy, Jessica, Nikkita, Alexandria, Rachel, and Melissa); his Great Grandchildren (Dominic, Demetre, Daveena, Leila, and Liam).
Arrangements (RESPECTING COVID RESTRICTIONS) are with Ward funeral home, Brampton Chapel.
