Greco GinoGRECO, Gino - It is with a heavy heart that we advise of the passing of our beloved father, Gino Greco, on November 1, 2020, in his 88th year.

He was the husband of the late Maria Antonietta (DiBartolomeo); son of the late Nicola Greco and Maria Nicola (Florinda) Gammieri; brother to the late Gennaro Greco, the late Antonio Greco, the late Maria Greco (Piedimonte), the late Lina Greco (Piedimonte), and Mario Greco.

Father of Rita DiBartolomeo (Erminio), Genaro Greco (Cristina), Donna Minghella (Michael) and Nicki D'Acri (Emilio).

Proud grandfather to Frank, Maria (Michael), Nata (David), Aurino, Gabriella (Yanick), Danielle (Justin), Bianca, Gianna (Shane), Franco (Diana) and Lucas; proud great grandfather to Kayden, Joshua, Tristan, TJ, Sloan and Adrian; and uncle to many nieces and nephews.

Our father immigrated to Canada in 1960 and tried a variety of business ventures before dedicating the majority of his working life to the business he started with his brothers, Greco Bros Painting.

He initiated or was a member of many social, sports and seniors clubs, enjoyed bowling and bocce, playing cards and particularly watching all sports - a true die-hard Toronto Maple Leaf and Napoli fan.

In his retirement years, he became more involved within the senior community of Vaughan enjoyed playing more gin rummy and bocce with his many friends across Vaughan. He was an advocate for seniors in the Vaughan community and would encourage them to voice their opinions to those who needed to hear it or he'd volunteer to speak for them to try to help them with their challenges.

He never said no to anyone who asked for help. He was proud of the life he built for his family here in Canada and proud to be a Canadian. He was a man of wisdom, integrity, loyalty, and strength. He will be missed by all who loved him dearly.

Arrangements (RESPECTING COVID RESTRICTIONS) are with Ward funeral home, Woodbridge chapel.
