ROBERTSON, Bruce William - Born April 3, 1927, Bruce passed peacefully into the great hereafter on December 30, 2020, in his 94th year.
Predeceased by his wife Carol and son David. Missed by children Rick (Reuben), Brock (Kim) and Cathy (Michael).
Grandchildren Nicole, Ty, Megan and Matthew miss his love and the joy he had in them. Bruce married the love of his life Carol in 1953 and for 67 years they shared a closeness founded on devotion, commitment and friendship.
Never ones to miss an excuse for a celebration, countless occasions were marked, from christenings to birthdays, weddings to anniversaries, Christmas' to Easter, all from their beloved home on Burwood Road in Etobicoke.
Bruce was a model of devotion to Carol, caring for her, selfless, loving her and doting on her long after his own health issues made it difficult for him to do so.
When Carol passed in September, Bruce's health rapidly declined until his death, no doubt from a broken heart missing his best friend, his cherished Carol.
The Robertson family thanks Dr. Peter Derkach for the outstanding care he provided Carol and Bruce over the years.
A private family service has been held.
