Loftus MargaretLOFTUS, Margaret (Duckett) - Peacefully at home at Bogart Mill Trail on February 26, 2021, in her 87th year. Formerly of Manchester, England.

Predeceased by her beloved husband of 52 years and best friend, Anthony (Tony) Loftus.

Mom to Carlo (Chris), Theresa, Mark (Carolyn), Monica (Randy), Peter (deceased), Stephanie (Gary), Louise (Edwin), and Kevin (Natalie).

Loving Nana to Jacob, Allison, Zachary, Anthony, Lucas, Bryce, Michael, Sarah, Angela, Jacqueline, Shannon, Rachel, Emma, Hayley, Joel, Chloe, and Great-Nana to Molly, Heidi, Nolan, Rowan & Madison.

Retired York University employee, serving as the Winters Residence Co-ordinator.

Member of the CWG at St. Elizabeth Seton Parish. Avid golfer and former member and shareholder of Orchard Beach Golf & Country Club, holding positions of Ladies club captain and MMLL Captain, from 1997 - 1999. Enjoyed many years with Snowbird friends at Camelot Trailer park in Malabar, Florida. Had a variety of hobbies over the years, including folk art, quilting, knitting, stain glass art, a nice glass of red wine and good hot brandy!

Given the COVID restrictions, the family has decided not to have a visitation at the funeral home in the hopes that we all stay healthy and safe. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Elizabeth Seton Church, 17955 Leslie St., Newmarket on Friday March 5th at 12 noon,followed by cremation.
