Brown WilfredBROWN, Wilfred Douglas Leroy - It is with profound sadness that the family of Wilfred Douglas Leroy Brown announces his sudden passing on March 27, 2021 at the age of 76.

He was predeceased by his loving and caring wife Patricia Brown. He is survived by his son, David and his wife Kim.

Predeceased by his dear parents, Wilfred and Gilles of Nova Scotia.

Born April 20, 1944 and raised in New Salem, Nova Scotia. Wilfred worked as a manager in Hospitality Services. He loved music, dancing, cooking and was always the life of the party. His greatest accomplishment was becoming ordained as a minister in his later years.

His favourite movies were westerns, and he loved to read books and followed the life of the royal family. But most of all Wilfred was the most kind, generous, and thoughtful man to his family, friends, and even complete strangers - whether with his time, or the shirt off his back. His infectious smile, dedication and generosity will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Though Wilfred will be deeply missed, his legacy will live on through all those whose lives he touched. May he rest in eternal peace.

The family would like to thank all those who helped support Wilfred, with special thanks to the PSW nurses at the Tony Stacey Centre for their gentle care and compassion they have provided.

In lieu of flowers, kindly consider donations to a charity of choice. Arrangements are entrusted to the Giffen-Mack funeral Home, Scarborough chapel. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the funeral service will be limited to immediate family and friends by invite only on Tuesday April 6th.
