DAVIS, Colin Peter - April 9, 1930 – April 2, 2021
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Colin after a brief illness.
He was the loving Father of Sharon Davis and devoted Granddad of Emma Davis.
A native of England, Colin immigrated to Canada in 1953 after serving as an officer and Pilot in the Royal Navy.
During his business career in Toronto, he held executive positions with Proctor & Gamble, and Young and Rubican Advertising Agency, plus worked in broadcasting and public relations companies.
Davis joined MCA TV International as head of Canadian operations in 1978.
He was moved to New York City and eventually to the company headquarters, Universal Studios in Los Angeles where he was named President of MCA TV International.
Colin retired in 1996, dividing his time between Bermuda and Toronto, where he enjoyed spending time with family and friends, especially his beloved Granddaughter Emma.
The Davis family wishes to thank the staff at the Birchmount Hospital for their care and kindness.
A celebration of life will take place post COVID.
