DE LUCA, Pietro - It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Pietro on Saturday, May 1st, 2021, at the age of 87.
He will be forever missed by his loving and devoted wife Ida of 63 years. Cherished by his dear children Franca Chetti (Joe), Pat DeLuca, Gino DeLuca (Sonia), Lorie DiCenso (John) and Anna DeCicco (Dario).
Proud nonno to John (Anna), Annalisa (Kevin), Peter, Paul, Melanie, Julia, Mary Ida, and bisnonno of Carmelina, Francesca, Joseph, Michael, and Isabella. He will be fondly remembered by his sisters-in-law Nina, Angela, and Romana.
Pietro has been reunited with his parents, Pasquale, Gaetana, and Virginia, and siblings, Luigi, Santo, Amalia, Amedeo, and Elio.
He will be held dear in the hearts of his family, relatives, and many friends.
Daddy was the patriarch of our family. He was handsome, humble, loving, and wise. He loved his family with all his heart. He enjoyed spending time in the garden and tinkering in the garage working on his next project. He was so happy with the simple things in life. He had a passion for music and singing, nature and spending time with his family. His smile was so infectious, and his playful sense of humour, and charm was irresistible. A natural true gentleman and wonderful man.
In Lieu of Flowers and in memory of Pietro, donations to The Heart and Stroke Foundation are welcomed.
There will be NO OPEN PUBLIC VISITATION
Private Family Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, May 5th at 12:30 p.m. at Scott Funeral Home Chapel, Woodbridge chapel.
Private Entombment to follow at Queen of Heaven.
