Lunn WilliamLUNN, William (Bill) Paul  -  Bill passed away peacefully, at the Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital, in the early morning of April 30, 2021, in his 88th year.

Bill was predeceased by his brother and best friend Frank Lunn, and is survived by his devoted wife Else, and his daughters Nancy and Brenda, and son Jim.

Bill cherished his six grandchildren, Laura and Andrew Pratt, Devin Mainguy, Maxwell, Danielle, and Isaac Lunn, as well as his niece and nephew Kelly and Robert Lunn.

Bill was born on Friday, October 13, 1933, in the little town of Perth, Ontario, a place he always loved.

His family moved to small town Quebec in the late thirties where Bill was schooled in a French convent, and skipped 2 grades.

He returned to Perth in 1945 to start high school. He excelled in French, but never opened a French book, and by Grade 13 managed to fail 2 French courses.

Later on, he met his beautiful wife, Else Fors, and they were married on May 19, 1958.

After Nancy, Jim and Brenda were born, they purchased their lifetime home in Oakville in 1970.

Bill and Else raised their family there, and Else lives there to this day. Bill had an inimitable sparkle in his eyes that will be dearly missed.

A small private family service was held on Friday, May 7th at Glen Oaks Funeral Home and Cemetery.

A celebration of life will be held when conditions permit.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Oakville and Milton Humane Society are appreciated.
