FREEDMAN, Daniel Sheldon 'Danny' - It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Danny Freedman on Saturday, May 8, 2021.
Beloved son of Irene and the late Carl Freedman, dear brother and brother-in-law of Steve and Pam Freedman, uncle to Jason Freedman and Amy Soberano, Lisa Freedman and Ben Rozyn, and lovely great uncle to Dylan Rozyn.
Danny loved to make people laugh and his greatest joy was standing on any stage of a comedy club. Danny had wonderful friends all over Canada, including devoted and loyal Toronto friends who were always by his side.
Special thanks to the amazing care from the doctors, nurses and support staff at Princess Margaret, St. Mike’s and Toronto General Hospital. Thank you to his daily nurse Moein Zabihi, and his personal friend and physician Dr. Zvi Gorlick.
Danny fought a courageous battle; he had an incredible will to live.
