Kennedy FlorenceKENNEDY, Florence Romana (West) - It is with great sadness that the family of Florence Ramona Kennedy announces her passing on Saturday, May 15, 2021, at the age of 89.

Florence will be lovingly remembered by her children, Joanne (Jim), Stephen (Karen), Jammie and her 5 grandchildren, Tanya (Nick), Danielle (Dave), Ryan (Jenette), Paul, and Amy.

Florence will also be fondly remembered by her great grandchildren Samantha, Mya, Ben, Hayden and Deanna and her sisters Lenore (Roscoe), Elaine and brother Winston (Carol).

Florence is predeceased by her son Randy, her husband Jim, and sister Dorothy.

Florence was a beautiful soul so full of life and love. She was a fiercely independent woman who’s smile would light up the room. She loved to laugh, sing, play the piano and attend church. Her family was the most important thing in her life and she was so proud of all of her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She will be greatly missed by her church community and her friends at Hamilton Place.

Our hearts will always remember our dear Flossy.

Arrangements entrusted with Roadhouse and Rose funeral home, Newmarket. Due to Covid restrictions, a Celebration of life will be held at a later date. She will be laid to rest at Mount Evergreen Cemetery in Trenton, Ontario on Saturday, May 22nd.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the United Church of Canada.
