SMITH, John (Jack) Arthur   -  June 8, 1927 - June 20, 2021

Jack was the son of Ralph and Clara Smith, husband to Betty (2010), father to Wendy (1949), Rick (2008), Rod (Sherry), Kelly (Connie), Tracy (David).

Grandfather to Ryan (Caryn), Sasha (Zoli) and Tarra, Ryan (Wendy), Tyler (Stephanie), Laura (Stefan), Brittany (Ben).

Great-grandfather to Ava, Aiden, Laurel, Matt, Ally, Milo, Felix, Rose, Gray, Bailey, Olly and Margot.

Jack/ Dad was born in Newmarket in 1927.

Never moving from the Newmarket area, Jack was employed by Bell Telephone for 39 ½ years.

Retiring at the age of 60, he enjoyed 33 years of travelling with Mom and creating memories with family and friends at the cottage in Orillia. Dad loved to tinker.

Repairing those things that had long passed their usefulness Jack took pride in never throwing those broken things he could fix away.

Dad had an amazing memory. He loved to talk about the history and people of Newmarket.

Dad enjoyed good health and a life full of memories until his 94th birthday.

Dad requested no service or donations.

But instead, if everyone could raise a glass of their favorite bubbly and "toast" his memory.

Love you DAD.
