Di Nunzio LuigiDI NUNZIO, Luigi - It is with great sorrow that we announce the peaceful passing of Luigi Di Nunzio on June 25th, 2021 at the age of 82.

Beloved husband of Maria and loving father of Ettore (Linda), Loredana (Frank) and loving son of Ettore Di Nunzio and Giuseppina Antonelli.

Treasured Nonno of Antonio, Francesca, Vittoria and Louis.

Survived by his dear siblings Nicola (Olimpia) and Fiorella (the late Michele).

Luigi will be sadly missed by his sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The family would like to thank the clinicians and staff at Trillium Health Partners, William Osler Health System, and Hospice Vaughan for their care and compassion during his stay.

Born in Lanciano, Italy as one of three children; he immigrated to Toronto, Canada in 1964 where he lovingly raised his family and worked a long and successful career as a Carpenter.

Luigi’s family was his life’s devotion and he was cherished and loved by all who knew him. He was a hard-working and honourable man who took joy in actively supporting his children and grandchildren. Memories of him will last in our hearts forever.

In tribute to Luigi, remembrances can be made in the form of flowers or through contributions to the Canadian Cancer Society.

Arrangements entrusted with Ward funeral home, Woodbridge chapel.
