KING, Doris Eva - We, as a family, sadly announce the passing of our wonderful Mom, grandma and great grandma, Doris Eva King, on September 16, 2021, in her 97th year.
Born in Toronto December 27th, 1923. Daughter of Harold and Eva Powell.
Predeceased by her loving husband Bill, October 5, 2013.
She leaves behind to mourn her, her children Beverley and Donald. Her grandchildren Leeanne, Ryan, Samantha and Jasmin. Her great grandchildren Ethan, Mya, Max and Jewell.
Always kind, loving, thoughtful and devoted to family and friends. Her sense of humour, sharp wit, intelligence, grace and strength will be profoundly missed. Her love of chocolate and dessert was legendary.
We miss you Mom.
A private family graveside service will be held. Arrangements entrusted with Ward funeral homes.
In Doris' memory, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
