CHAMBERS, Steven Gerard  -  1969 – 2022  With profound sadness and grieving hearts, Jack and Heather Chambers of Welland announce the far too early passing of their only son Steven of Port Credit and most recently Lytchfield, Connecticut.

After suffering from Ulcerative Colitis most of his life, he finally succumbed to pancreatic cancer.

Steve leaves behind his wife Allison Blackwood and daughter Nora of Lytchfield, and daughters Caleigh and Sarah of Port Credit.

He is survived by sister Michelle (Jim) and niece Fiona of North Vancouver, Godmother Janice DeLauriers, Welland, and Godfather Gerard LaRose, Thorold.

Steve also leaves aunts Diane Summers (Alton) and Carole Kaismir (Larry) as well as many cousins. A graduate of Notre Dame Welland, Queen's University, and Sheridan College Steven pursued his love for computers as a systems analyst.

He had a passion for history and politics, for TFC and fly fishing.

A life well lived; a life so short.

As per Steven's wishes, cremation has taken place and a private Celebration of Life for family and friends will take place at St. John's Dixie Cemetery & Crematorium, 737 Dundas Street East, Mississauga, ON L4Y 2B5, Wednesday, March 23rd, 6:00 - 8:00 p.m.

Sleep well our Prince, may all the angels sing thee to thy rest.
