Park RheaPARK, Rhea Park   -  Passed away on December 13, 2023, of complications from dementia.

She was at peace. She and Peter were together to the end.

Rhea was born in 1948 in Montreal, grew up in northern Ontario, then moved to Brantford, Ontario, with her adoptive parents.

There she met Peter Park, the love of her life.

When Peter started his job as a national organizer for People First of Canada, they moved to Toronto. Rhea was always working and studying.

She was a home helper and food service worker. She was a constant learner, passing equivalency test after equivalency test. She travelled with Peter all over the world for People First events. Rhea loved poetry and rhyming.

She had a joyful personality, and her capacity for love and friendship knew no bounds. Peter and Rhea were active members of the Courtyard Coop, NABORS, and more recently, Houses of Providence.

Rhea Park was loved.

She will be missed. Her smile will travel with many of us for many more years.

Plans for a Celebration of Rhea's Life will unfold with time.
