Slobodian AdamSLOBODIAN, Adam "Ed"   -  Passed away peacefully, at home on Tuesday, February 13, 2024, at the age of 87.

Predeceased by his parents, Nicholas and Anne; and brother, Myron.

Beloved husband of Sonia, for over 60 years. Loving father of Katherine (Gregory), and Mark (Lidia). Proud Dido of Natalie, William, and Victoria.

Dear brother of Jerry and Alexandra. Uncle to many nieces and nephews; and godfather to Elaine. He and Sonia travelled the world on many adventures.

He was a proud supporter of all things Ukrainian, and could be seen driving his Corvette in the annual Ukrainian Day Festival Parade. He was an avid boater, something he shared with his son, Mark.

He saved everything, just in case because "I could maybe use it again".

And he could fix anything with duct tape and the green handled screwdriver.

Resting at Newediuk Funeral Home, 2058 Kipling Avenue, on Thursday, February 15, 2024, from 3-8 p.m., with Panakhyda at 7:30 p.m. Funeral at St. Demetrius Church, 135 La Rose Avenue, on Friday, February 16, 2024, at 10 a.m.

In lieu of flowers and as expressions of sympathy, donations to St. Demetrius Church or the Ukrainian Canadian Care Centre, would be appreciated by the family.
