CHARENDOFF, Hudas - Born in Toronto on May 26, 1927, passed away peacefully, in Toronto on March 5, 2024, at the age of 96.
Treasured daughter of Morton and Rose Sodomsky; and beloved wife of the late Dr. Morris Charendoff (2014).
Hudy was a dynamo who loved to garden, create art, and play sports.
A passionate golfer, she got a hole-in-one at the age of 82.
Bubby Hudy leaves her children, Jay and Lisa, Debbi and Bobby, Susan and Stewart; her grandchildren, Michael and Alana, Miriam, Hally, Aubey and Jessica, Jonah and Megan, Jesse and Jessica, and Emily and Rebecca; and her great-grandchildren, Teddi, Georgia, Zoe, Selena and Max.
She also leaves her late-in-life soulmate, Saul, with whom she shared a sweet and joyful romance.
Hudy was blessed to know Arlin, a wonderful and compassionate caregiver, and a true companion for the past 22 years.
The service was held at Benjamin's Park Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, March 6th at 10:00 a.m. Interment Beth Tzedec Memorial Park.
