Hodgins MargaretHODGINS, Margaret Barbara (nee WILLIAMS)  - On Sunday, April 22, 2018 surrounded by her family.

Predeceased by her devoted husband of 53 years, Daryl R. Hodgins and her parents, the Rev. Milton and Jessie Williams.

Survived by sons Glenn (Ann), Eric (Coleen) and Murray (Catherine) and daughter Andrea (Scott).

Loving grandma to Kalliopi (Avi), Alicia, Morgan, Hilary, Timothy, Gwen and Cole and great-grandma to Talia and Rahm.

Survived by her cousin Joyce Williams and brother-in-law Warren (Isolde), nephew Myke and niece Tess (Guy). Barb attended Branksome Hall and the University of Toronto Faculty of Music and received her ARCT in piano performance from the Royal Conservatory.

A gifted organist, she played first at her father's church and then served as music director of the St. Mark's United Church choir.

This group became the nucleus of the Amadeus Choir and Barb was its director for a period of 10 years.

One of the many gifts she gave her children was an appreciation of the outdoors, encouraging them to explore the remote parts of Canada through Camp Wanapitei.

A gentler, kinder soul never walked the earth. Visitation Friday, April 27th, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Ogden Funeral Home, Scarborough, ON.  Funeral Service Saturday, April 28th at 11 a.m., Jubilee United Church, 40 Underhill Drive, North York, ON M3A 2J5. Interment to follow.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations in Barb's name to the Amadeus Choir, or the Alzheimer Society of Canada.
