Haw Dr BevHAW, Dr. Bev  - November 27, 1926 –  May 25, 2018

In his 92nd year. Beloved husband of June (nee Telfer) for 68 years.

Predeceased by his sister Margaret (Vince) and younger brother John (Shirley).

Survived by sister Sarah (Mike).

Father of Tom (Karen), Bill (Laura) and Peter (Colette).

Loving Grandfather of Lauren (Mike), Sarah (Mike), Rochelle (Jordi), Brandon (Kathleen), Alexandra (Robert), Austin, Emily and Sean.

Great-grandfather of Madeleine. Dear uncle to his many nieces and nephews he happily saw every year at the summer family reunions.

Served in the Canadian military for 2 years before graduating as a medical doctor from University of Toronto in 1953. He was in private practice until he retired in 1992.

Having fought cancer since 1998, Bev was briefly in palliative care at Scarborough General Hospital, where he had been an emergency physician for almost 40 years.

A full life that touched many, he will be greatly missed.

A service will be held at St. David's Presbyterian Church in Scarborough on June 3rd at 3 p.m. with a reception immediately following.

Sympathy may be expressed through donations to St. David's Presbyterian Church or the Canadian Cancer Society.
