Pearce RobertPEARCE, Robert aka "Bobby Jr."  - Passed away peacefully on Friday, June 1, 2018 with his much-loved wife, Jane and daughters Sarah-Jane and Katie by his side.

Bob was the son of former Olympic Champion Sculler Henry Robert "Bobby Pearce" and Velma Hilmer.

Bob, who was a much-loved Super Dad, will be remembered for his huge presence and commitment to those around him.

He was a selfless and extraordinarily generous man who gave his time and heart to helping his closest friends and family.

Bob was also a food aficionado who thrived on sharing his top-listed treats with others.

He will be greatly missed by Summerhill Market, Pusateri's and Harbord Bakery whose shops provided gastronomic pleasures to all the people he knew and loved.

He will also be remembered by the Jumping Caribou Lake community, fellow Toronto Cricket Club members, and former colleagues at C.W. Jefferys.

Bob was the ultimate survivor and fighter who defied all odds for over 32 years. Special thanks to Dr. John Ross for his incredible care and compassion for over three decades as well as the many nurses at the Toronto General Hospital.

A celebration for Bob's life for family and friends will be held at the Toronto Cricket Club, 141 Wilson Avenue, Toronto, on Friday, June 8th at 2:00 p.m.

If desired, donations can be made to the Peter Munk Cardiac Centre at the Toronto General Hospital.
