GERRITS, Mary (Maria) Josephine (nee Mennen) - March 19, 1925 - August 3, 2018
Passed away peacefully at The Wynfield Long Term Care Residence on Friday August 3, 2018, at the age of 93.
Devoted wife of the late Murray for 67 years.
Loving mother of Theo (Marg), Mary (Dave), Phil (MaryAnn), John (Jenny), Betty (Tom), Pete (Liza), Frank (Joanne), Murray and Martin (Danika).
Cherished Oma of Andrea, Owen (Lesley), Jay (Colleen), Kyle (Katie), Melissa (Trevor), Amanda, Katie, Kayla (Brandon), Mitchell (Aundrea), Tom (Melissa), Dan (Stacy), Stephanie (Charlie), Alex, Colin (deceased), Kurt (Amanda), Etta and Vaughn. Great-Oma to Austin, Logan, Lacey, Summer, Liam, Tommy, Johnny, Isabella, Georgia, Jude and Lila.
Mary is survived by brother Martin Mennen. She was predeceased by her sister and brothers: Beth Donkers, Jan Jansen, Harry Mennen, Len Mennen, Piet Mennen, and Antoon Mennen.

Resting at W.C. TOWN FUNERAL CHAPEL , 110 Dundas Street East, Whitby (905-668-3410) on Thursday August 9, 2018 from 2-4 p.m. & 7-9 p.m.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated from St. Bernadette's Catholic Church, 21 Bayly Street East, Ajax on Friday August 10, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. Reception to follow. Interment at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations made in memory of Mary to the Alzheimer Society of Durham Region would be appreciated.
