Creighton MarciaCREIGHTON, Marcia Anne (nee Hamson)  - (October 3, 1948 – February 11, 2019) -

Unexpectedly passed away on Monday, February 11, 2019, surrounded by family at Peterborough Regional Health Centre at the age of 70.

Marcia, beloved mother of Bryonie Creighton (husband Jason Pyper) and Katherin Creighton-Taylor (husband Scott Taylor).

Adoring Mumcie of Gilbert, Greer, William and Andrew.

Predeceased by her loving parents Edwin and Dorothy Hamson. Older sister of Richard Hamson (Cathy). Dearly missed by her former husband and friend John Creighton (Kay).

Everyone who knew Marcia immediately fell in love with her bubbly personality, infectious laugh, and joy-filled spirit. She was a passionate educator with the Toronto District School Board.

When she retired from teaching, she became a realtor with an enthusiasm for helping people, especially single women, get into a home of their own.

She was an inspiration and blessing to all who had the privilege of her friendship. She cherished the friendships and community made at Agincourt Pentecostal Church, Faith Family Church, and The Embassy Church. She was grateful to have had several lifelong friends.

She was a woman after God's own heart, her faith eternal. She was truly one of a kind and will be forever missed.

Friends may call at the Embassy Church (416 Taunton Road West) on Saturday March 2nd from 10am. Memorial service at 11am. Fellowship to follow the Service.

Flowers sent to the church would be greatly appreciated by Marcia's family as she loved flowers.

In memory of Marcia, donations can also be made to The Embassy Church.
