Witszyn ChristieWITSZYN, Christie Wityszyn  - August 12 1974 - August 13 2019

Christie passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family.  Christie was diagnosed with brain cancer in January of 2015.

She fought a brave and dignified battle with humility and her own special sense of humour for almost 5 years.

But she has now lost the fight with this relentless disease.

Christie will forever be remember by her devoted husband Dave, her Mother Sue Duchesnay, Father Scot Duchesnay (Martha), Sister Niki Duchesnay (Grant), Uncle Charlie Duchesnay (Kim and Kara), Grandmother Irene Duchesnay, Mother and Father-In-Law, Rosemary and Peter Wityszyn, Brother-In-Law Jason Wityszyn (Jordan, Joshua and Judy) and Aunt-In-Law Maureen McGuire

Christie will be cremated, as per her wishes, and a celebration of life will be held at MOUNT LAWN FUNERAL HOME, 21 Garrard Road, Whitby Ontario, on Saturday August the 24th 2019 from 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm.

This will be a true celebration as Christie would have it no other way, so please come casually dressed and bring your great memories of Christie.

In lieu of flowers, Christie requested that you make a donation, in her honour, to the Gerry and Nancy Pencer Brain Tumour Centre, at Princess Margaret Hospital https://thepmcf.ca/ChristieWityszyn or to the Durham Region Hospice - Whitby. https://interland3.donorperfect.net/weblink/weblink.aspx?name=E345356QE&id=3

Online condolences may be shared at mountlawn.ca.
