BEVAN, Caleb Thomas - (December 29, 1981 – August 28, 2020)
A loving husband, father, brother, cousin and friend, Caleb left us suddenly on Friday, August 28, 2020, at Lakeridge Health Oshawa, at the young age of 38.
Words cannot express how deeply and dearly he is missed by Melissa, his loving wife, soulmate and the target of his offbeat, goofy humour, by his children Cooper and McKenna, who will have to live on without his big hugs, his culinary skills and his ability to wring out instant joy from any family activity, and by his canine pals Sydney and Dash, who could always rely on him for a treat or two and a belly rub at any time of the day.
A cherished son to Haly Holmes (Steve Stretten) and Ted Bevan (Marg), loving brother to Bria (Jeff), Sayward (Drew), Dave (Lindsey), and Sarah (Matt), beloved son-in-law to Maria and John, and dear brother-in-law to Tyler (Lisa) and Cole, Caleb was also a wonderful uncle to his nieces and nephews and a treasured cousin to so many in the Holmes and Bevan clans.
He will be especially missed by his close friends, with whom he forged unbreakable bonds that lasted many years, including Jeff, Sean, Rob, Drew and Adam.
May your soul fly free, Caleb, where it is meant to be, among the trees and along the still waters, and may your memory continue to warm our hearts forever.
