WRAXALL, Ruth Marion (nee Donn) - Passed away peacefully at the Wynfield LTC facility on September 11, 2020 at the age of 83 after a lengthy illness.
She was the cherished mother to Melanie (Bill), Steve (Shannon) and predeceased by her first son Wayne.
She was a devoted Grandmother to Danielle (Rob), Trevor, Victoria (Justin), Braydon and Tyler.
Predeceased by her brothers Al and Dave, she will be missed by her Sisters-In- Law Arlene, Donna and Helen (Brian). She will be fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews and longtime friends.
Through the years, Ruth was very active with her crafts, church volunteering, and her grandchildren’s school sports & hockey community.
The family would like to thank all the staff at the Wynfield Long Term Care Facility. We appreciate everything you do each day to make other people’s lives better. A special thank you to the Doctors, Nurses and PSWs who worked on the Cullen Path. You are truly Angels in scrubs.
A private family celebration will be held at later date.
If desired, in lieu of flowers, a donation to the Alzeimer Society Durham Region in Ruth’s honour would be appreciated.
