SHAND, George Auston - Passed away at his residence on Sunday, January 3rd, 2021 at the age of 82 years.
Survived by his wife of 60 years, Ena Shand.
Dear father of Everton (Marjorie) Shand, Gerald (Patricia) Shand, Joan (Alvin) Melbourne, Merilyn Shand, Peter Shand, George Jr. Shand, Derrick (Shawn) Shand and Lincoln Shand (Christopher Dywan).
Grandfather of Jason Shand, Jermaine Melbourne, Theresa Bosyj, Lionel Shand, Tiffany Shand, Shenaz Thomas, Reian Shand-Meredith, Jacob Shand, Andre Shand, Brianna Shand, Ashanti Shand and Storm Shand.
Great grandfather to Kayonna Blake, Tatiauna Bosyj, Laylaa Shand, Quinton Melbourne, Greyson Melbourne, Jordyn Melbourne and Maddisyn Meredith.
Survived by his siblings Mira, Virois, Deloris, Carmen, Karleen, Errol, Wayne, Allen, Churchill and predeceased by siblings Louise and Petti.
Will be sadly missed by Mr. & Mrs. Davis, many nieces, nephews, family and friends both here in Canada and in Jamaica.
Arrangements with Mount Lawn Funeral Home, Whitby. COVID19 restrictions apply. A private family service to take place Saturday January 16th in our chapel at 11:00 a.m. followed by interment at MOUNT LAWN CEMETERY.
