O'NEILL, Mary Knox - (March 11th, 1927 – February 9th, 2021)
Passed away peacefully in her 94th year.
Beloved wife of the late Thomas O’Neill.
Loving mother of Kathy (the late Paul Asling).
Adored Nanny of Sean Asling (Rachelle) and Tara Asling (Joe Kehoe).
Loving great-grandma of Aurora Asling, Andrew Sturgeon, Nathan Sturgeon, Megan Sturgeon, Sarah Sturgeon, Heather Sturgeon, Mary Kehoe, Christopher Kehoe, Payton Martin, Callan Kehoe and Irelynn Kehoe.
She is the last surviving sibling, predeceased by sisters Margaret Bennett (Richard), Betty Fraser (Jack) and brother John McCrae (in infancy).
Mary will also be missed by her many nephews and nieces.
Mary will be remembered for her strong work ethic. She was a proud employee of Loblaws for over 40 years.
Mary enjoyed bowling, swimming and volleyball. Mary would often be called on by the boys to play volleyball where she gained the nickname “Poke”.
Mary had a great love of music. She loved to sing and was a proud member of the Peoples Church Choir.
Mary was a sun worshipper who loved to travel.
She had a great love for animals and had an especially strong bond with her dog Bella.

A Private Graveside Service will be held at Thornton Cemetery, Oshawa on Saturday February 13th.
