Anyone who knew Allan would agree that he was one of the kindest souls who cherished his family and friends.
He devoted a large part of his life to helping others, retiring as a Principal from the Durham Catholic District School Board.
He volunteered at the Oshawa General Hospital, school libraries, Extendicare Nursing Home and soup kitchens in the area, and was also a member of the Knights of Columbus.
Allan was predeceased by his parents, Dorothy and Bill Senior, and his brother, Bill Junior. He leaves behind two nephews; Colin and Kevin, and a niece; Lisa.
He was also a great-uncle to Santorri, Miles, Sydney, Coral and Taylor.
Allan will be fondly missed by Al’s Gals. He also left behind his best friend and little yorkie, Huey. In regular “Algie” fashion, he fully planned his arrangements.
